Richard Thompson

Richard Thompson currently serves as the European Tax Manager at Vontier, where responsibilities include managing Direct Tax matters across Europe, particularly in the UK, Italy, and Germany, alongside US reporting and transfer pricing projects. Prior to Vontier, Richard held several senior tax positions at Univar Solutions, most recently as Senior Manager of EMEA Tax, enhancing compliance and reporting processes for the EMEA region. Richard’s earlier experience includes leadership roles in direct tax at Asda, tax management at GE Capital, and a foundational career at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Richard holds a BA in Accounting & Law from The University of Manchester and is a member of the ICAEW.
