Markus Pfister

Markus Pfister is the current Head of Structured Solutions & Treasury at Vontobel. Markus has also previously served on the board of the Swiss Futures and Options Association. Prior to their current position, Mr. Pfister was with Vontobel and SIX.

Mr. Pfister started their financial career at Banca del Gottardo in 2001 as Head of Global Equities and Derivatives. In this role, they were responsible for equity trading, equity product sales, and trading application development. Markus then moved to Credit Suisse Financial Products in 1995, where they worked in global convertible bond arbitrage and index arbitrage.

In 1996, Mr. Pfister joined Bank Leu as Head of Trading Derivatives, where they were responsible for market making in equity derivatives. Markus remained with Bank Leu until 2001.

Markus Pfister completed an advanced executive program at the Swiss Banking School of the SFI Swiss Finance Institute. Markus also completed an executive program at the same school.

Their manager is Zeno Staub, CEO, Head Platforms & Services and Head Investments. They are on a team with Toby Triebel - Head Digital Investing, Georg Schubiger - Head Wealth Management, and Marko Röder - Head Asset Management.
