Minck Hermans

Minck Hermans has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2013, they served as the Co-Founder of FOBISS B.V., a technology and software supplier to the retail and banking industry. Minck then became the President of UNISCA in 2012. In 2013, they worked as an Intern at Tweede Kamer der Staten-Generaal. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Project Member at ING Nederland, where they focused on innovation and FinTech. Minck then joined ING as an Analyst and later as an Associate in Syndicated Finance Western European Corporates. In 2019, Minck co-founded borofree, a platform that offers early access to wages and rewards for daily purchases. Currently, they are the Co-Founder and COO of VonWood, a digital timber marketplace aiming to make the wood industry more sustainable and accessible to everyone. Additionally, Minck was a hockey player for SCHC Bilthoven and served as the Prorector of Utrechtsch Studenten Corps.

Minck Hermans has a strong educational background, having pursued studies at various institutions over the years. In 1998, they began their education at Gymnasium Bernrode, where they obtained their Diploma in Economy & Society in 2005. Following this, they enrolled at Utrecht University in 2006 and completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies in 2013. Their passion for Asia led him to Leiden University the following year, where they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Politics, Society and Economy of Asia, which they successfully completed in 2014. Throughout their education, Minck Hermans has demonstrated a commitment to interdisciplinary studies, exploring a range of subjects within the fields of politics, society, economy, and liberal arts.
