Jil Ulrich

Jil Ulrich has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. They currently hold the position of Senior Director at Vor Bio, starting in March 2023, where they oversee MSAT operations. Previously, at the same company, they served as the Senior Director of CMC Project Management from June 2022 to March 2023, and as the Director of CMC Project Management from January 2022 to June 2022.

Prior to joining Vor Bio, Jil worked at Vedanta Biosciences, Inc. from 2016 to 2022. They held various positions during their tenure, including Director of CMC Operations from June 2020 to January 2022, Associate Director of CMC Operations from July 2019 to June 2020, Senior Manager of Technical Operations from December 2017 to July 2019, and Manager of Process Development and Technical Operations from March 2017 to December 2017. They also started their career at Vedanta Biosciences as a Senior Process Development Engineer from October 2016 to March 2017, and as a Process Development Consultant from May 2016 to October 2016.

Before joining Vedanta Biosciences, Jil worked at Joule Unlimited Technologies, Inc. as a Bioprocess Engineer ll from April 2014 to April 2016. They led multiple cross-departmental projects, designed and evaluated photobioreactor configurations, and operated bench and pilot scale photobioreactors for parameter testing and scale up efforts.

Jil also worked at Logos Technologies, LLC as a Fermentation Engineer from November 2010 to April 2014. They established and managed a research and development laboratory and developed SOPs for bacterial fermentations.

Earlier in their career, Jil worked as a Visiting Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from November 2010 to November 2011, and as a Research Assistant at MIT from July 2009 to August 2010.

Jil's work experience started at the Cecilie Vogt Clinic for Neurology, where they worked as a Student Assistant from December 2007 to August 2008.

Jil Ulrich attended Beuth University of Applied Sciences from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Biotechnology.
