Davide Gilardoni

Davide Gilardoni has a diverse work experience in the field of network engineering and IT support. Davide began their career as a Support Engineer at Macroservices S.R.L. in 2006 and served in this role until 2008. From 2008 to 2012, they worked as a Waiter at Fortnum & Mason. In 2012, they joined Class Technology Solutions Ltd as an IT Technician, where they managed medium-sized networks, administered Hyper-v server farms, and implemented network and workstation upgrades. In 2015, Davide worked as a Network Engineer at Academia - the Technology Group, providing IT solutions and support to businesses, charities, and the education sector. Davide gained expertise in managing and maintaining Office 365 and migrating customers' environments to the latest technology. Davide then transitioned to the role of Managed Services Systems Engineer, supporting and managing an ISP network and Cloud services for Academia. In 2017, Davide joined Avanti Communications Group plc as a Network Solutions Engineer, where they assisted in the design and implementation of network solutions, configured and maintained core networks, and documented designs and configurations. In 2019, they joined BSO as a Senior Network Engineer for the EMEA region, where they provisioned L2 and L3 services, configured network infrastructure, and supported clients in joining Internet Exchanges. In 2022, Davide took on the role of Head of Level 2 Engineering at BSO, managing the Level 2 Engineering team, before transitioning back to their role as a Senior Network Engineer. In 2023, they joined Vorboss as a Senior Network Engineer.

Davide Gilardoni completed their education at ITIS B. Castelli from 2000 to 2006, earning a degree as a Technical Expert in Electronics and Telecommunication. In addition to their formal education, they obtained multiple certifications in various fields. These certifications include JNCIA-DevOps - Juniper Networks Certified Associate Automation and DevOps from Juniper Networks in November 2022, JNCIS-SP - Juniper Networks Certified Specialist Service Provider from Juniper Networks in January 2019, LPIC-2 from the Linux Professional Institute in January 2017, and JNCIS-SEC - Juniper Networks Certified Specialist Security from Juniper Networks in March 2016.
