Gary Justen

Gary Justen has had a long and varied career in the information technology field. Gary began their career in 1993 as the MIS Manager at Hickory Farms, Inc., where they were responsible for the 16 member team responsible for all of the company's technology efforts. During their time there, they were responsible for systems selection and implementation to replace older mainframe technology, as well as data assimilations and ERP installations for mergers & acquisitions. Gary also served as the AS/400 Project Leader & Systems Analyst, leading multiple BPCS version upgrades and creating a customizable financial reporting system.

In 1996, Gary moved to The Rudolph Libbe Companies, Inc. as the Director of Information Services. Gary was a hands-on leader for the seven member team responsible for providing support for all technology related items. During this time, they were also selected by the President of the company to join the Business Development team for a three-year period as a career development opportunity.

In 2012, Gary moved to Arakffta as a Senior IT Solutions Consultant. During their time there, they successfully completed a corporate divestiture project from ThermoFisher on time and under budget. Gary also provided efficiencies that reduced the IT staff by 25% and monthly operating expenses by $25,000.

In 2014, Gary moved to Hamilton Scientific as the Chief Technology Officer. During their time there, they provided strategic direction and vision of all technology resources, as well as managed on-shore and off-shore data centers, network systems, infrastructure and communications. Gary also continued improvements in BPCS ERP that integrated Texas, Arkansas and Mexico plants into the system.

In 2015, Gary moved to Rowmark as the Business Systems Integration and IT Manager. Gary then moved to Rowmark, LLC as the Director of Information Technology, where they were responsible for oversight and responsibility for all Rowmark companies from an IT and communications standpoint. Gary drove integration into their iSeries based VAI S2K software with their companies across the US and Internationally, and successfully implemented S2K in 5 of 6 entities at Rowmark.

In 2021, Gary moved to MIDWEST TERMINALS OF TOLEDO, INC. as the General Manager. Gary is currently employed at VAI (Vormittag Associates, Inc.) as an RPG Developer, a role they have held since 2022.

Gary Justen attended The University of Findlay from 2005 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.). Gary also attended Owens Community College from 1981 to 1983, where they earned an Associate's degree in Computer Programming.
