Fredy Cedano

Lead RPG Developer at Werner Enterprises

Fredy Cedano has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Fredy started their career as a Programmer at IBM in 1985, where they developed interfaces and provided programming support for customer applications. Fredy then worked at Nestlé as a Programmer before joining Tricom as a Senior Programmer/Analyst, where they created an interface system and developed customer order and billing systems.

In 1997, Cedano became a Project Leader at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where they designed and implemented an interface system package and converted applications from S/36 to AS/400 system. Fredy then moved to Systematic Control Inc as a Senior Programmer/Analyst, working on analysis, design, and development of various applications using RPG III and ILE RPG IV.

In 2002, they joined EVERGREEN COMPUTER SOLUTIONS, INC. as a Sr. Programmer/Analyst, where they performed analysis, design, and development for banks in Florida and New York. Their responsibilities included working on applications like DATAPRO, OLYMPIC, ABC Broker securities system, and ADP Broker securities system.

Cedano later worked as a Senior Consultant at ABM AMRO Bank, where they developed and implemented various processes and interfaces. Fredy then joined Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd as a Consultant/Senior Programmer/Analyst, working on high-profile projects.

From 2017 to 2019, they served as a Consulting Engineer at Office Depot, where they led the development of AOPS and CDAP systems.

Currently, Cedano is a Lead RPG Developer at Werner Enterprises, where they lead the development of the Day Tripper system, prepares technical specifications, and resolves application issues.

Fredy Cedano attended Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra from 1983 to 1987. Fredy earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Systems Engineering.
