John Venezia

John Venezia began their career in 1989 as an Assistant Manager at Egghead Software. In 1997, they moved to Spearhead System Consultants as an IT Manager. In 1999, they joined VAI (Vormittag Associates, Inc.) as a Director of Portal Integrations and a Sr. Java/Websphere Portal Architect.

John Venezia's education history includes attending the New York Institute of Technology from 1992 to 1996, studying Computer Science; New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering from 1991 to 1992, studying Computer Science; and LIU Post from 1990 to 1991, studying Computer Information Systems. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including an NSCAA Advanced Regional Diploma in 2012, an IBM Certified Associate Application Developer (Lotus Notes and Domino 8.5) in 2010, an IBM Certified Solution Developer (IBM Websphere Portal V6.0) in 2010, an NSCAA Regional Diploma in 2009, an IBM Certified Application Developer (IBM Websphere Portlet Factory V6.0) in 2007, an IBM Certified Associate Developer (Lotus Notes and Domino 7) in 2007, an IBM Certified Solution Developer (Websphere Portal V5.0) in 2005, an IBM Certified System Administrator Websphere Portal V5.0) in 2005, an NSCAA State Diploma in 2005, and an IBM eServer Certified Specialist (iSeries Solution Sales V5R2) in 2003.
