Sureena Gill

Sureena brings with her over 19 years of experience in development finance and impact investing mainly in investment execution, private equity capital raising as well as operations management, value creation, and advisory roles. Sureena started her career in this space at the International Finance Corporation where she led investments and advisory programs in Africa and Asia in the area of financial inclusion, SME finance, and financial infrastructure development.

Prior to Bamboo, Sureena was Advisor at Astarte Capital Partners where she led the company’s capital-raising efforts in the Asia Pacific and she has previously worked at J.P Morgan, Fidelity Investments, and other international organizations (GIZ, ILO).

Sureena is passionate about catalyzing greater social and environmental impact and she has spent a major part of her career advising emerging market organizations on achieving commercial sustainability while delivering social and environmental impact.
