Gonzalo Moreno

Gonzalo Moreno is a seasoned professional in automation and engineering with extensive experience across various roles. Currently serving as the Manager of the Automation Department at VOSTA LMG since October 2021, Gonzalo is responsible for developing engineering packages and coordinating contract partners for ship dredging systems. Prior to this role, Gonzalo worked as a Senior Automation Project Engineer at Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga, where responsibilities included curriculum development, research, and training junior staff. Gonzalo has held notable positions such as Senior Service Coordinator at SCHOTTEL, where commercial and service strategies for clients in Latin America were designed, and Head of the Engineering Department at Armada Nacional de Colombia, focusing on maritime safety and equipment efficiency. Gonzalo holds a Master’s degree in System Management and IT from Universitat de Barcelona and a Naval Engineering degree from Escuela Naval de Cadetes Almirante Padilla, among other qualifications.
