Matthew Haney

Matthew Haney is an experienced data science professional currently serving as the Director of Program Data Science at the Voter Participation Center since July 2021, following a role as Senior Data Scientist. Prior experience includes serving as a Data Science Instructor Lead at General Assembly and working as a freelance Data Scientist. Matthew has held data science positions at Neoway Business Solutions and Ooma, Inc., where significant contributions included building automated reporting systems and managing data science interns. Additionally, Matthew worked as a Game Theorist at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, focusing on designing and verifying competitive influence games. Matthew holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master's in Finance from Stanford University and a Master's in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University.
