James Alexander Clever, MD was educated at Stanford undergraduate and medical schools in internal medicine and oncology, the final year as chief resident.
After serving for two years in the United States Air Force as a Major, Chief of Medicine and Chief of Hospital Services, Jamie was in independent private practice of Internal Medicine in San Francisco for 35 years. He served on the volunteer faculties at UC San Francisco Medical School community hospitals and was Chief of Staff at Pacific Presbyterian Medical Center for three years.
Jamie served on numerous non-profit boards, including the Visiting Nurse Association of San Francisco, the Redwoods Retirement Community, Northern California Presbyterian Homes and Services and the Community Church of Mill Valley.
