Marc J. Fagel

Marc Fagel is a former partner with the law firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where he served as co-chair of the firm’s national Securities Enforcement Practice Group. Prior to joining Gibson, Marc was the Regional Director of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s San Francisco Regional Office. He recently retired from the practice of law after nearly 30 years in the private and public sectors to focus his efforts on civic engagement. Marc currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence, and has previously served on the boards of the American Civil Liberties Union of Northern California and Jewish Family and Children’s Services of San Francisco. He is a graduate of Princeton University and the University of Chicago Law School. Marc lives outside San Francisco with his wife, Julie, and spends his free time writing about his passion for music.
