Edward Segel

Edward Segel is an accomplished entrepreneur and advisor with significant experience in both the startup and corporate sectors. As the Founder and General Partner of Floating Point since 2019, Edward has spearheaded innovative initiatives. Additionally, Edward serves as an Advisor at VotingWorks and co-founded Sun Day Carwash in 2021. Edward was part of the founding team at Oscar Health, where responsibilities included VP of Product and SVP of Business from 2012 to 2019. Edward's earlier career includes roles in corporate strategy and data visualization at Bloomberg LP and investment at Bridgewater Associates. Edward holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, an MS in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University, and a BA in Philosophy from Harvard University.
