José Guilherme S. Amato has extensive experience in energy management, risk analysis, and carbon trading, holding various leadership roles at prominent companies in the sector. At Auren Energia, José served as Data Center Energy Manager and Head of Carbon Trading, building expertise in carbon markets and risk management. Previously, at Gerdau, José worked as Power and Gas Executive and Power Trader, focusing on energy management and risk analysis. Additional experience includes a role at Sales & Trading in energy market trading and positions in retail fuels and market analysis at Raízen and FG/A. José holds a Master of Engineering in Energy and Environmental Sciences from Universidade Estadual de Campinas and completed an educational program at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
