Karen Geraldes Germano has extensive legal expertise with over 20 years of experience in various roles within esteemed organizations. Currently a Senior Legal Manager at Hejoassu Administração S.A. (Votorantim Group Family Holding) since October 2012, Karen has progressed through multiple positions, including Legal Counsel and Compliance Legal Coordinator. Prior to Votorantim, Karen spent seven years at Imerys as the Latam Senior Lawyer, managing legal affairs across numerous Latin American markets, focusing on corporate matters and disputes. Karen began a legal career as a Legal Trainee at Veirano Advogados, specializing in environmental issues and legal contracts. Academically, Karen holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Corporate Law from Insper, and has pursued further education in mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, and tax planning from prominent institutions.
