Cynthia Powell

Cynthia Powell, CPA, is the owner of CiPowell Advisory LLC since 2020, providing consultancy services to C-suite executives in the property & casualty and health insurance sectors, along with outsourced CFO services. Cynthia serves as a board member for Vouch Insurance and is an advisor to a direct-to-business digital insurance platform. Additionally, Cynthia is a board member on The Ohio State University's University Self Insurance Program, supporting professional liability coverage. Previously, Cynthia held significant roles at Root Insurance Company, including founding board member and senior executive vice president, overseeing market opportunities and regulatory relationships. With extensive experience at State Auto Insurance, Cynthia has served as senior vice president in various capacities and began their career at KPMG US. Cynthia possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from John Carroll University.
