Michael Medynskyj

Michael Medynskyj is the current Foundry Operations Lead at Vow. Prior to this, they served as the Process Development Lead from March of 2022 to June of that same year. Their time before that was spent as the Production Lead from April 2021 to March 2022. Michael was also a Research Scientist II from May 2020 to April 2021, working on the challenges of cultivating meat as the future of food.

Before their time at Vow, Michael was a Senior Scientist at Regeneus Ltd from June 2016 to August 2019. In this role, they were responsible for mesenchymal stem cell-based product development, data collection and analysis, SOP writing, presentations/public speaking, quality control testing, pre-clinical product manufacture/testing, R&D experimental design and setup, intern management and tutelage, and basic laboratory management.

From April 2012 to June 2016, Michael was a Research and Production Scientist at Regeneus Ltd. And before that, they served as the Lab Manager and R&D Technician (PT) from August 2011 to April 2012. Their very first role in the company was as an R&D Technician (PT) from June 2010 to August 2011.

Michael Medynskyj has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Macquarie University. Michael also has a Bachelor of Science in Biological and Biomedical Sciences (Hons) from the University of Technology, Sydney.
