Manel Ibáñez has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Manel is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Voxel, where they lead a team focused on driving innovation through Extreme Programming practices. Prior to this, Manel was a Co-Founder and Enterprise Agile Coach at MandarinaTeam, where they guided large organizations through transformative journeys to unlock their full potential.
Manel also held the position of Head of Engineering and Head of Operations at Lifull Connect, where they led technical teams and managed the contents of more than 250 websites across 60 countries. Manel also served as an Enterprise Agile Coach and was involved in the agile transformation of the Software R&D department at BioSystems S.A.
Additionally, Manel has experience as the CEO at Lemonbytes, a games, tools, and apps development company, and as a Founder and CTO at BLIde.org, where they developed an advanced IDE for the BlitzMax language.
Earlier in their career, Manel worked as a Technical Director and Founder at Arista Barcelona, a junior Programmer at Teinor, S.A., and as a Cross-platform Games Engineering Teacher at the Departament d'Ensenyament - Generalitat de Catalunya.

Manel Ibáñez completed a Master of Agile Methodologies degree from La Salle BCN from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, between 1997 and 1999, they pursued a degree in Computer Applications Engineering for MainFrame IBM OS/3090 from CFDTI "La Caixa"/IBM. In 1999 to 2000, they gained practical experience in software development through an internship at CFDTI / IBM. Furthermore, Manel Ibáñez has obtained several certifications including Certified Scrum Professional - ScrumMaster and Certified Scrum Developer from Scrum Alliance in 2017, as well as Certified Scrum Master in 2017 and Team Kanban Practitioner from Lean Kanban Inc. in 2019.
