Franz Hägle

Director Engineering at Voxeljet

Franz Hägle is the Director of Engineering at Voxeljet. Franz is responsible for developing and overseeing the production of machines and facilities for 3D printing technology. Prior to their current position, Hägle served as the Construction Leader at Brooks Automation from 2007 to 2015. In this role, they were responsible for developing semi- and fully-automatic storage systems, vacuum and wet cleaning systems, process monitoring systems, tools and methods for the fully-automatic commissioning of complex robotic systems, and the planning and integration of visual image processing systems. From 2004 to 2007, Hägle was the Project Leader at TECHTORY Automation GmbH. In this role, they oversaw the development of mechanical engineering projects. From 1998 to 2004, Hägle served as the Development Leader for Mechanics at Parker Hannifin. In this role, they were responsible for the development of hydraulic and pneumatic products. Hägle began their career as a Project Engineer for Development in Mechanics at Parker Hannifin in 1993. In 1998, they were promoted to Technical Manager for Research & Development at Airtec Pneumatik GmbH, where they served until 2017.

Franz Hägle studied Maschinenbau at the Fachhochschule Offenburg - Hochschule für Technik, Wirtschaft und Medien, graduating with a Dipl.-Ing. (FH). Afterward, they completed a Lehre als Stahlformenbauer at Grohe Thermostat GmbH.

They work with Richard Höfer - Director Finance, Controlling & Accounting, Rudolf Franz - COO & CFO, and Christian Uhlmann - Director Purchasing. Their manager is Ingo Ederer, CEO.
