Shane Welch has worked in a variety of roles since 2006. From 2006 to 2015, they were a Photographer and Owner of Shane Welch Photography, where they provided creative leadership to clients and employees while executing projects to their specifications. During this time, their documentary work was showcased in over 100 publications worldwide and won over 30 awards. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at Getty Images as a Contributor, creating images for stock use in print and digital media and adhering to brand identity and stock imagery requirements. In 2018, they joined Zipwhip as a Manager of Customer Success, where they advanced in increasing responsibility and provided thought leadership and structured process to client relationships throughout the customer lifecycle. Shane also managed and mentored a team of 14 managers and individual contributors, supporting clients in the Mid-Market and Enterprise space. In 2022, they joined Twilio as a Senior Manager of Customer Success, where they were appointed as a key leader responsible for the partnership between Zipwhip/Twilio teams and process alignment during the depreciation of the Zipwhip software after the acquisition by Twilio. Shane was also the project lead for the Zipwhip software shutdown and customer migration. In the same year, they joined Voxie as the Sr. Director of Customer Experience and Director of Customer Success & Support.
Shane Welch attended College of DuPage from 2005 to 2007 and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Photography. Shane then attended Columbia College Chicago from 2007 to 2010 and obtained a BFA in Photography and Environmental Studies.
