Mikhail Leskov

Head of Sales Russia&CIS at Voximplant

Mikhail Leskov has a strong background in sales and management roles within the IT industry. Mikhail is currently the Head of Sales Russia&CIS at Voximplant since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Dell EMC as the Vmware Business Unit lead from April 2020 to May 2021, where they focused on developing the business of VMware through Dell, implementing cloud and sales strategies.

From 2016 to 2020, Mikhail worked as an External Sales Advisor for small and medium IT companies, responsible for sales strategy development and execution, as well as advisory and salespeople management strategies.

Before that, they were an Enterprise Account Manager at Veeam Software from March 2010 to April 2016. Mikhail played a key role in the formation and lead generation process of the division, transitioning the company from a small vendor to a well-known one in Russia and CIS.

Prior to that, Mikhail held various management positions at OTR, including Chief of Directorate of Practices from February 2008 to March 2010, Chief of the Infrastructure Department from February 2007 to February 2008, and Chief of the Sun Microsystems section from February 2006 to February 2007. In these roles, they were involved in division formation, department management, and designing solutions for customers.

Earlier in their career, Mikhail worked as a System Engineer at Eastline Airport Handling (Domodedovo) from October 2003 to February 2006, and as a System Administrator at NBLgold from January 2002 to February 2003.

Mikhail Leskov completed their Master's Degree in Computer Science at the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute) from 1998 to 2004. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including IBM Sales Expert from IBM in May 2008, Solaris 10 System Administration Upgrade Exam 310-302 from REDCENTER LTD in January 2008, Solaris 10 Network Administration 310-203 from REDCENTER LTD in June 2007, Administration and Support for AIX 5L V5.3 from Microinform in March 2007, Solaris 9 System Administration Part II from REDCENTER LTD in December 2006, and Solaris 9 System Administration Part I from REDCENTER LTD in November 2006.
