Mitch Edwards

Mitch Edwards has a diverse work experience history. Mitch started their career as a Summer Vacation Student at Shell Todd Oil Services in 2008, where they assisted with technical editing, project economics, and business planning. In 2011, they became a Business Planning Analyst at the same company, responsible for coordinating and preparing business plans and budget documents. Mitch then joined Shell as a Supply Chain Executive and Insurance Adviser in 2013, achieving successful insurance policy renewals and consulting with government entities on insurance requirements. In 2015, they transitioned to Lightbox, Spark New Zealand, initially serving as a Commercial Partnerships Manager, where they developed partnerships with retailers and technology companies. Mitch later became a Strategy Analyst, contributing to market and product strategy development. Mitch also worked as a Content Manager at Lightbox, managing content partnerships and acquiring popular titles. Mitch joined VoxSmart in 2018, starting as a Commercial Manager and General Counsel, before transitioning to the roles of Head of Commercial Operations and Head of UK Operations.

Mitch Edwards attended the University of Otago from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a major in Economics. During the same period, they also pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree at the University of Otago. Prior to their university education, Mitch Edwards attended NPBHS from 2002 to 2006, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this time period.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Mitch Edwards obtained certification as an enrolled barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in December 2015 from the High Court of New Zealand.
