Hikmet Ersek

Hikmet Ersek is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the financial services and payment sectors. Currently serving as a Board Member at Voya Financial and Hepsiburada and as an Advisor & Board Member at waterdrop®, Ersek also leads global consulting initiatives through Ersek PLC. Since 2015, Ersek has held the position of Honorary Consul for Austria in the US states of Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico. Previous roles include serving as a Board Member at Erste Group and Chief Executive Officer of Western Union, where a significant focus was placed on transforming customer experience while driving shareholder value. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business).
