Thomas S. Lawler

Thomas S. Lawler is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Director of the Security Incident Response Team (SIRT) at Voya Financial since August 2019. Prior to this role, Thomas held the position of Supervisory Special Agent at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) from October 1996 to July 2019. Thomas began a career in technology as a Programmer at IBM from April 1988 to September 1996. Educationally, Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Marist University, studying there from 1987 to 1990, and also attended the Rochester Institute of Technology for a year, where Thomas pursued a similar degree.
