Sebastian T.

Sebastian T. has a diverse and extensive work experience. Sebastian started their career as an Analyst at Roger Engemann and Associates in 2000. Sebastian then interned at Fidelity Investments in 1999. From 1996 to 1998, they worked as an Associate at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Prior to that, they worked as an Analyst at the Federal Reserve Board from 1994 to 1996, where they conducted economic and public policy research and co-authored research papers.

Sebastian's significant contributions began at Allianz Global Investors in 2003, where they held multiple roles. Sebastian served as the Head of US Technology Research from April 2005 to July 2022, managing a successful analyst team focused on technology research. Additionally, they served as the Managing Director and Lead Portfolio Manager for the Allianz Global AI Fund from September 2016 to July 2022. Under their leadership, the fund received accolades such as the Morningstar Fund of the Year and Best Thematic Fund of the Year.

Currently, Sebastian is continuing their role as a Managing Director and Lead Portfolio Manager for the Global AI Fund at Voya Investment Management. Sebastian joined Voya as part of its acquisition of Allianz's US Asset Management business. In this role, they are responsible for managing the same strategies and products.

Sebastian T. pursued a BA degree in Economics from Pomona College from 1990 to 1994. Sebastian later obtained an MBA degree in Analytic Finance and Strategy from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business between 1998 and 2000.
