Ryan O'Hara

Ryan O'Hara has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Ryan started their career in 2011, working as a Web Designer at the Department of Internal Affairs, where they re-designed and developed the New Zealand Web Standards website. In 2013, they became a Contract Front-end Developer at SilverStripe, where they worked on projects such as the Westpac website. Ryan also worked as a Designer and Frontend Developer for various clients as a freelancer from 2013 to 2015. In 2014, they also worked as a Web Design Tutor at ACG Yoobee School of Design. In 2015, Ryan became the Director at Voyage, an innovative creative studio specializing in web design and development. Ryan also became the CTO at Waggle New Zealand, an online marketplace, during the same year. In 2016, they joined Propd as a Co-Founder and CTO. Additionally, Ryan briefly worked at Uber in 2016 as a Partner Support Representative.

Ryan O'Hara began their education at Wairarapa College, where they attended from 2004 to 2008. During their time there, they pursued a diverse range of subjects such as Computers, Technology, Graphics, Photography, Maths, English, Japanese, and Science, ultimately obtaining an NCEA Level 3 degree.

Following their completion of high school, Ryan continued their education at Victoria University of Wellington from 2009 to 2011. Ryan pursued a Bachelor of Design Innovation degree with a focus on Digital Media Design during their time at the university.
