David Whitaker

David Whitaker is a seasoned professional in the insurance industry, currently serving as Founder and Managing Director at CALEDON GROUP since January 2024 and as Managing Director at Voyager Insurance Services Ltd since July 2024. Prior to these roles, David was the Managing Director at Plum Underwriting Ltd from November 2007 to December 2022 and held the position of Underwriting Manager at Hiscox Insurance from August 1997 to November 2007. David's career began as a Product Manager at UNITED FRIENDLY INSURANCE LIMITED from September 1990 to August 1997. David holds a BSc (Econ) in Geography and Social History from Swansea University, where studies were completed from 1986 to 1989, and attended Altrincham Grammar from 1980 to 1986.
