Jan Jezek

Jan Jezek is a Senior Software Engineer at Voyager Search since August 2016 and has also been a Software Consultant at InnoConnect since July 2016. Previously, Jan served as a Scientific Researcher at the University of West Bohemia from 2013 to August 2016, managing several software projects and contributing to research in GIS and spatial data. An internship at Fraunhofer IGD in 2014 involved contributions to data visualization and parallel data processing projects. Prior experience includes software development for various GIS products at Help Service Remote Sensing from 2009 to March 2014, and Java development for sensor-based applications at the Czech Center of Science and Society from 2007 to 2009. Jan participated in Google Summer of Code in 2006 and 2007, contributing to GeoTools and Geoserver. Jan holds a Ph.D. in Geoinformatics from the Czech Technical University in Prague.
