Hassan Gheisari has a diverse work experience in the field of biology and medical sciences. Hassan began their career as an Anesthesiologist Assistant at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, where they conducted anesthesia and monitored patients in operating rooms and emergency care units. Hassan also supervised anesthesia teams and mentored junior nursing students. After that, they worked as a Faculty Cosmetic Assistant, where they continued to provide anesthesia and analgesia treatments, as well as overseeing surgical procedures and leading a team.

Most recently, Hassan worked at Spirovant Sciences, Inc. as an Associate Scientist. In this position, they developed new treatments for cystic fibrosis disease using Lentivirus and Adeno-associated virus (AAV). Hassan conducted cell culture and designed and conducted experiments using analytical assays such as RT-qPCR, ddPCR, and Flow cytometry.
Hassan is currently working at Voyager Therapeutics, Inc. as a Senior Research Associate. Their responsibilities include working on new treatments for CNS diseases using gene therapy and optimizing Adeno-Associated Virus (AAV) capsids for delivery of genes into the CNS.
