Jeron Chen

Jeron Chen is an accomplished expert in data science and machine learning with extensive experience in the biotechnology and gene therapy sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Data Science and Payload Engineering at Voyager Therapeutics, Inc., Jeron Chen leads teams focused on machine learning, bioinformatics, and innovative payload engineering initiatives. Previous roles include heading AI ML initiatives at Biogen and contributing to genomic research as a graduate student at Rice University. With a strong educational foundation consisting of a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Rice University and a BS from The Johns Hopkins University, Jeron Chen has also co-founded a company, Clean Air Pillow LLC, and served in various research capacities at prestigious institutions.
