James Jackson Jr

James Jackson Jr. holds a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from Grambling State University and previously studied Kinesiology and Exercise Science at Robert Morris University-Illinois. Currently acting as Program Manager and Recreation Therapist at Voyages of Sugar Land since June 2022, James has also served as a Recreational Therapist at Compelling Therapy Services, Inc. since February 2022 and worked in the same capacity at SUN Behavioral Houston from July 2020 to June 2022. James has demonstrated proficiency in addressing various psychosocial, cognitive, and physical disabilities, effectively directing and coordinating recreational activities for children and adolescents. Additionally, James completed a 15-week, 600-hour internship at Shrevport Public Assembly & Recreation in late 2019.
