Matt Perry

Matt Perry is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace and photonics industries. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer at Voyant Photonics since August 2025, Matt has previously held significant positions at Luminar Technologies as a Staff Mechanical Engineer from December 2018 to August 2025, and at Lockheed Martin in various roles including Staff Mechanical Engineer and Senior Tooling Engineer from September 2007 to December 2018. Prior experience includes a role as a Reliability Engineer at United Space Alliance and as a Mechanical Engineer (CWEP) at Lockheed Martin. Matt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida between 2000 and 2006.
