Andrea Animashaun has been in the workforce since 2007, beginning their career as a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant at Insurance Personnel Service. In 2010, they joined Joyent as an Office/Facilities Administrator and Junior Accountant. In 2014, they moved to Clarizen as an Office Manager and in 2017 they began working at VOYOMOTIVE as an Office Manager, managing office operations, human resources, and full cycle accounts payable for company headquarters and Michigan offices.

Andrea Animashaun began their educational journey at Contra Costa College from 2003 to 2006, where they completed their general education. In 2005, they attended Universidad LCI Veritas to study Spanish Language and Culture. In 2006, they transferred to the University of California, Berkeley, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology in 2009.
