Derrek Seif

Derrek Seif has a diverse and extensive work experience. Derrek is currently the Chief Strategy and Product Officer at VPL, where they have held various roles since joining the company in 2019. Prior to VPL, Derrek founded UpShot Product Consulting in 2017, a product strategy advisory firm. Derrek has also served as the Chief Product and Technology Officer at SHARE Mobility, a mobility company, from 2018 to 2020. Before that, Derrek worked at irth Solutions as the Senior Vice President of Product Strategy from 2012 to 2017, and at Quest Software as a Product Manager from 2006 to 2012. Derrek began their career as a Software Product Manager at Synygy, Inc in 2002 and then worked as an IBM Global Services Consultant at IBM from 1998 to 2002.

Derrek Seif holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Villanova University. Derrek also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University. In addition, they have a certification in Practical Product Management and Requirements That Work from Pragmatic Marketing.
