Jorge M.

Jorge M. is a trilingual mental health leader and Brazilian-trained psychologist with over a decade of experience in building and leading services for children, families, and diverse communities. Currently, Jorge serves as Program Director for a Long-Term Foster Care shelter in Corpus Christi, Texas, overseeing trauma-informed care and staff development for unaccompanied refugee and immigrant youth. Jorge’s previous roles include Program Director at Southwest Key Estrella Del Norte and Assistant Director of a shelter for unaccompanied refugee children, where they provided program oversight and mental health services. Jorge also managed a mental health clinic in Brazil, supervising a team of psychologists and promoting culturally responsive care.
