Aleksi Manninen

Sales Director, Domestic Rail Logistics at VR Transpoint

Aleksi Manninen has extensive work experience in the logistics industry. Aleksi started their career at Beweship as a Business Analyst, where they worked on pricing tool development and the implementation of a new ERP solution. Aleksi then joined DB Schenker, where they held various roles including Key Account Manager and Regional Account Manager, responsible for sales, contract negotiations, and implementation management. Aleksi also worked at Fountain Park as an Account Manager, focusing on account development and co-creation strategies. At DB Schenker, they later became the Head of Sales Planning & Key Account Management and the Head of Business Development Land & Sales Planning, where they managed teams responsible for pricing, service development, and international cooperation. Currently, they are the Sales Director, Domestic Rail Logistics at VR Transpoint, leading a team of Product Managers and overseeing P&L, contract management, and business development.

Aleksi Manninen attended Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained their Master's degree in Logistics.
