Joni Lehtonen

Joni Lehtonen has extensive work experience in the transportation and logistics industry. Joni is currently working as the Vice President Commercial at VR Transpoint since November 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at DB Schenker, including CCO Cluster Finland from October 2017 to November 2022, Director and Head of KAM/Sales and Marketing from April 2015 to September 2017, and Head of Key Account Management from February 2008 to March 2015. Before joining DB Schenker, Joni worked at Schenker Cargo Oy as a Production Director from December 2005 to January 2008, and at Schenker Oy as a Key Account Manager from September 2001 to November 2005. Joni started their career at Kiitolinja Oy as a Process Development specialist from May 1997 to July 2001.

Joni Lehtonen pursued their education at the Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku from 1992 to 1997. During this time, they completed their Master's degree in Logistics and Information Systems Science.
