Tuomas Kansikas

Tuomas Kansikas is an experienced professional in the logistics and supply chain management sector, currently serving as Account Director at VR Transpoint since August 2023, focusing on large Finnish accounts and driving business development initiatives. Prior to this, Tuomas held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Nurminen Logistics, overseeing a team of approximately 95 employees and leading significant organizational changes and expansions in Europe. Tuomas's extensive career at DHL Global Forwarding included roles from Director of Air Freight to Air Freight Business Development Manager, consistently achieving market leadership in the air freight sector. A former professional football player, Tuomas has also contributed to sports organizations and holds a Master's degree in Economics and Business Administration from LUT University.
