Martin Ormond has extensive experience in technical and military roles, currently serving as Training and Maintenance Support at VRAI since November 2021. Prior to this, Martin worked as a Test Driver for Armoured Vehicles within the Test Engineering Team at Calidus Land Systems from November 2019 to January 2021. Martin's military background includes a significant tenure with the Irish Defence Forces, where responsibilities included serving as Company Sergeant from July 1998 to June 2020. Additional experience includes roles as a Test Driver and Build Supervisor at Timoney Technology Limited and as a Sheet Metal Fabricator at Calmark Ireland Ltd. Martin holds a Bachelor's degree in Leadership Management & Defence Studies from the Institute of Technology, Carlow, as well as a secondary school education from St Anne's Post Primary.
