Benjamin de Wit

Benjamin de Wit is the Festival Director and Founder of VRDays Europe, organizing Immersive Tech Week, a prominent 5-day conference and exhibition focused on Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Reality in Rotterdam, Netherlands, since January 2015. With experience as a freelance Virtual MC, Conference Chair, Moderator, and Speaker from April 2016 to June 2022, Benjamin has actively participated in international panels and conferences in the fields of new media and digital design. Previous roles include serving as a Board Member at NORMA, holding the position of Managing Director at Studio Stomp, and owning Spot On Agency and NBMediaVillage, as well as working in new business and partnerships at WeMakeVR. Benjamin's career also includes acting with Toneelgroep Amsterdam and early experience as a projectionist at Pathe. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Theatre in Acting from HKU (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht) and has studied at the University of Amsterdam and Farel College.
