Irina Filimonova

Marie Christine is an accomplished professional in the field of renewable energy, currently serving as the Head of Wind Energy R&D at Vestas since February 2022. In this role, Marie Christine leads the research and development efforts for wind energy technologies, managing the R&D team and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Prior to Vestas, Marie Christine held positions at Ørsted as a Regional Project Manager for Wind & Solar and as a Wind Energy Engineer, and completed an internship in wind energy technology at Statkraft. Marie Christine holds both a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy Engineering from the University of Warsaw, obtained between 2006 and 2012.
