Scott Gerber has an extensive background in strategic communications and advocacy. Scott is currently a Co-Founder and Partner at Vrge, a firm that specializes in guiding industry leaders and upstarts through markets disrupted by new technologies and business models. Prior to their role at Vrge, Scott served as Director of Government and Community Relations at Cisco from June 2014 to March 2015, and as Senior Manager of Government Affairs from February 2010 to March 2015. Scott also held the position of Communications Director at the California Department of Justice from November 2008 to November 2009. Before that, Scott worked as Communications Director for the Office of US Senator Dianne Feinstein from December 1999 to October 2008. Scott began their career as an Account Executive at Solem & Associates from January 1998 to December 1999. Scott also has experience as a PAID INTERN at Stanford University from June 1997 to December 1997.
