Anirban Basu is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software and data engineering, currently serving as VP of Engineering at VRIFY since March 2025. Anirban is also a Board Member for the Vancouver Chapter of the CIO Association of Canada and has held various senior roles in prior positions, including Senior Director of Software Engineering at Geoforce and Engineering Leader at Amazon. Anirban has a strong background in managing large engineering teams, developing engineering standards, and successfully migrating analytics solutions to hybrid cloud environments. Anirban holds an Executive MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management and a B Tech in Information Technology from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology.
