Martijn Schouten

Martijn Schouten is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in leadership and advisory roles across various industries. Currently serving as CEO of Vroon since June 2023, Martijn has been an Independent Advisor and Interim Executive Manager at LeadingEdge BV Advisory, Trade and M&A since 2003. Additionally, Martijn has contributed as an Advisor for the Cleantech Program at Alacrity Canada since March 2021. Previous positions include CEO and CFO at TI Geosciences LTD from October 2017 to February 2021, and Group CEO/CFO at Tompkins UK Ltd., covering Modus Seabed Intervention Ltd. and TI Geosciences Ltd. from September 2016 to September 2018. Martijn also held several key roles at Royal IHC between 2011 and 2016, including Commercial Director and Managing Director of the division mining, and served on the boards of various organizations. Martijn holds an MBA from INSEAD and has educational qualifications from Avans University and Baronie van Breda College.
