Jeff Bowman

Jeff Bowman has over 20 years of experience in business management and bookkeeping. From 1985 to 1989, they were the Owner/Administrative Office Manager of Roamin' Bath Mobile Pet Grooming, where they were responsible for day-to-day business activities, periodic activities such as payroll and tax reporting, and communications with attorneys, CPAs, and government agencies. From 1989 to 2015, they worked as a Senior Staff Accountant at Media Funding, where they were responsible for closing entries, sales tax calculations, invoicing, reconciling multiple bank and merchant accounts, creating new books, and overhauling the invoicing method. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Bookkeeper at CA Accounting. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as an Accounts Payable Specialist at Career Advantage, where they provided accounts payable support for multiple companies and produced custom business analytics for the Accounts Payable department head. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as an Accounting Manager at GP Color Imaging Group, where they were responsible for full charge accounting, multiple entities, cross-company tracking, and bank reconciliations. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as an Accountant at Accounting Tax Payroll Partners. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as an Accounting/IT Processing Specialist at Equis Staffing, where they were originally hired as a Staff GL Accountant. From 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Technical Accounting Manager at VS Media, where they were responsible for continually identifying, providing, and improving IT methods related to the accounting software, Sage 100. Jeff refined existing processes for processing vendor invoice information, uploading invoices and payments into Sage 100, and creating a process to export bank ACH, wire, and other "ewallet" files from Excel.

Jeff Bowman has a long history of education. Jeff graduated from Notre Dame High School of Los Angeles in 1981 with a General Studies degree. Jeff then attended Los Angeles Valley College from 2000 to 2009, earning an Associate of Arts in Psychology - Developmental, cum laude. Jeff also received a Certificate from Hacienda La Puente Adult Education in 1996 for Pet Grooming. From 2010 to 2017, they attended Los Angeles Pierce College and earned an Associate of Arts in General Studies: Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathmatics S.T.E.M. In 2020, they earned an Associate of Arts in Economics, an Associate of Science in Business Administration, and an Associate of Arts in Social Behavioral Sciences, all from Los Angeles Pierce College. In addition to their degrees, Bowman has obtained numerous certifications, including QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certification 2020 Desktop, Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel Associate (Excel and Excel 2019), and Certified Animal Hygenist.
