Michael Fu MD, MBA, is a seasoned professional in behavioral health and product strategy, currently serving as Senior Director of Product & Behavioral Health Strategy at Hazel Health since June 2020. In October 2023, Michael co-founded culture therapy, furthering commitment to mental health initiatives. Prior to these roles, Michael founded Project Zeeni, a mental health non-profit for low-income adolescents, and worked as a Strategy Fellow at Hopelab, leading a team to develop an award-winning anxiety chatbot for young adult cancer survivors. Additional experience includes early-stage healthcare investments at GSR Ventures and a management consultant role at REDF. Michael began a career in education with Teach For America as a middle school math teacher. Michael holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, an MD from Stanford University School of Medicine, and a BS in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
