Gerard Arguelles

Gerard Arguelles has extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Gerard started their career as a cadet de maquinas at Compañia Maritima de Cabotaje in 2011. Gerard then worked as a cadet de maquinas at Interoceanic Supply Services before joining Maersk Line as an engineer de reefers. Gerard later worked as a third engineer officer at Ahrenkiel Shipmanagement GmbH & Co. KG from 2012 to 2014. From 2014 to 2018, they served as a fourth engineer officer and later as a third engineer officer at Euronav. Gerard joined AES Gener S.A in 2018 as a senior mecánico before returning to Euronav in 2020 as a second engineer. Currently, Gerard is working at VT Group as a second engineer officer, and starting from June 2023, they will transition to the role of chief engineer officer.

Gerard Arguelles completed their education from 2007 to 2010 at the International Maritime University of Panama. Gerard obtained a degree in Ingeniero en Maquinaria Naval, specializing in Ingenieria Naval. Additionally, in September 2020, they obtained a certification called C.O.C from the Autoridad Marítima de Panamá. However, no information regarding other degrees or certifications is provided.
