Brett Wittmayer earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from North Dakota State University from 1987 to 1993. Brett also obtained an Advanced Safety Certificate from the National Safety Council in 2005 and a Lean Bronze Certification from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers in 2008.
