Prior experience includes a year as Regional Volunteer Manager and AmeriCorps Member with the American Red Cross, where Kathryn managed volunteers across various regions, and an internship with the American Cancer Society, focusing on support for children affected by cancer. Early career experience at Eat Spot Restaurant involved customer service, enhancing skills in teamwork and communication. Kathryn holds a BA in Family Community Services from Michigan State University and participated in a study abroad program at the University of the West Indies, concentrating on the music, history, and culture of Africa, the Caribbean, and the Americas.
